Anzac Day Ceremonies - 2009
The school was invloved in the organisation and presentation of two Anzac Day services in 2009. One, held at the school, was conducted by the students on the 24th of April. It was a lovely ceremony and Caitlin and Tayla did a great job of conducting the service. Emily, Kaela, Bridjett and Josh contributed by reading poems, prayers and the ode.
A very similar service was held on the 25th of April (Anzac Day) and the Ballandean Community along with the Variety Club of Queensland were invited to attend. This service was held at the Ballandean Pyramid at Henty Estate.
The children sang "You're the Voice" and "We are Australian" for the services.
The service at Ballandean State School was well conducted by Caitlin.
Once again, our local member, Mr Springborg showed his support of our school through his attendance at our school service.

Bridjett says a prayer at the Anzac Day Service at the Ballandean Pyramid - Henty Estate.

Graham King raised the flag which was positioned on top of the Pyramid at the going down of the sun.
