Ballandean State School Sports Day - 2008
On Thursday 17th of July children from Ballandean State School and their parents assembled on the Ballandean Soccer Field to compete in their annual sports day. The weather was great and the field was ready for action. Many children were dressed in their sports 'house' coulours - Mitchell house wearing yellow (gold) and Cunningham house wearing blue. The children participated in track and firled events - including jumps, throws, sprints and long distance. A tally of points at the end of the day indicated that Mitchell house were victorious in 2008.
The day would not have been possible without the excellent behaviour and participation from the children and the support and assistance of our parents, staff and community members. Thanks everyone!
